      Hi Nevin, Thanks,

      But I specifically wanted this effect where the log is sharp and the fire appears more as a single mass around it rather than separate flames.

      So this picture was taken with a longer shutter speed to get that effect.

      There are many more pictures where the Flames appear sharp
